A timestamped condition report at pickup and delivery. It protects you if something happens in transit and it protects us from a claim for damage that was already there. Either way, everyone can see the truth.
Flatbed only
Six hundred highway miles on a wheel-lift puts six hundred miles of wear on the drivetrain and tires that stayed down. For anything past the metro, the vehicle goes fully on the deck.

How much does long-distance towing cost?
Long-haul is quoted per route rather than off a rate card, starting around $150. Detroit to Chicago or Cleveland typically lands in the $600 to $900 range for a standard vehicle. You get one flat written number before we load, and that is the number on the invoice.
Do you tow out of state?
Yes. Common routes from Metro Detroit are Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis and Toledo, plus cross-Michigan moves to Grand Rapids, Traverse City and the Upper Peninsula. Longer routes are possible with scheduling notice.
Is my car insured while it is being transported?
Yes, cargo insurance covers the vehicle in transit. We will provide a certificate of insurance on request before booking, and we photograph the vehicle's condition at both pickup and delivery so any dispute has evidence rather than opinions.
Can you transport a non-running or classic car?
Yes. Non-running vehicles are winched onto the deck, and classic or low-clearance cars are secured with soft straps and wheel nets rather than chains over painted or chromed surfaces. Tell us what it is when you book so the right equipment is on the truck.
The person who shows up is an AA Towing driver in a marked truck with the same logo you see at the top of this page. If a truck arrives that does not match, do not load your car onto it.
